Athletics
Our athletic season takes place in the first term of each year. The season kicks off with the Inter-house event, which usually takes place in the first or second week of the new school year. Mass participation is encouraged at Inter-house. Following Inter-house a team of 127 athletes is selected and these athletes participate in meets as scheduled throughout the first term.

Rugby
The boys at Laerskool Burgersfort have the opportunity to improve themselves in the game of Rugby. Rugby is played throughout all the ages. The Bulletjie-Rugby boys enjoy a fun match of Tag Rugby, whereas the big boys enjoy the real hard game of Tackle Rugby. Rugby is a winter sport and is therefor played during term 2. We are proud to say that L/S Burgersfort have had many boys who managed through the trails and had the opportunity to play for provincial teams!
Mini-Krieket
Vroeg in die 3de kwartaal word die Mini-Krieket seisoen afgeskop met n prettige rondomtalie. Gemengde spanne word saamgestel uit seuns & dogters. Ons kinders geniet die weeklikse oefensessies vreeslik, waartydens ons voorberei vir wedstryde teen ander skole.
Word n Burgie en kom geniet die sportmansgees op die Mini-Krieket veld!!
Burgieklub
Dis hier waar die leerders elke Woensdag tussen 14h00 - 15h00 net vergeet van akademie. Ons pak kunsprojekte aan, leer van ons omgewing en die natuur. By Burgieklub doen ons net LEKERRRR dinge!
Landloop
Burgies se landloop vind plaas gedurende die 4de termyn. Enige leerder mag deelneem aan landloop. Dit bevoordeel n leerder se fiksheid vir ander sportaktiwiteite. Leerders geniet die geleentheid om as n span die skool te kan verteenwoordig!
